Kind of the same thing I replied to Ben's Blog. I struggle in middle school with "teaching" growth mindset. How do I get the kids to shift to a growth mindset when they have years of school that has led them to the fixed mindset. I think it is awesome that you are instilling this way of thinking with such a young group of kids. My next question is how do we get teacher's and the district to make that shift. I don't think the culture in the district or at my site is of that nature, as a whole. Curious about your site

First of all, I appreciate the quality of work you place on your blogs. They are insightful, logical and flow well together. I am interested to see if your students are aware of their math mindsets at such young ages.

I really like the way you set up your blog. I am having trouble organizing my thoughts and after reading your blog I see how I could have made my blog more visually appealing. It sounds like you have some good articles that will guide you in your research and in writing your research paper. I teach fourth grade, it is only my second year and already I can see how setting goals is a good idea. I know I would benefit from some goal setting. It will be interesting to see how mindset relates to goal setting. I don't know if you have thought of this but I wonder if setting a goal could help motivate a student with a strong fixed mind set?
